Journal: Early Tulips

by Susan Abbott

6" x 6", oil on archival linen panel

In the fall, planting tulip bulbs before the ground freezes feels like such a chore, but come spring, I'm always so happy to see their bright, graceful heads in the garden.

Journal paintings are small landscape, still life, and figure studies created to observe each day's weather, light and  mood, and are available only from my website store.
