Artists for Land Sale
Susan organized a group show and sale of paintings of the newly conserved Stranahan Town Forest, a 630 acre plot in Marshfield, Vermont. Funds from the sale will help pay the last of the price for the acquisition of this land for public enjoyment, including by plein air painters! With a donation of $250 to the Vermont Land Trust between now and February 1st, you can select one of the exquisite paintings by 12 Vermont artists, including the three above by Susan. Each donation will allow the donor to select one work. The selection will be on a first come first serve basis beginning on December 12th, 2007 and ending on February 1st, 2008. Please note that images of all of the art work will be posted on the Vermont Land Trust website over the next couple weeks. Also note that donations will be made in exchange for art that is valued higher than the gift so they are not tax-deductible. In fact, they are an incredible steal!
