Still Life Immersion: Chardin, Cezanne and Bonnard
A unique three day workshop at Bryan Memorial Gallery in Jeffersonville, Vermont
Monday, April 14 – Wednesday, April 16, 2008
| Here is your chance to learn from the great still life painters Chardin, Cezanne and Bonnard. This unique painting and art history workshop analyzes the very different styles, compositions, and techniques of these masters.
We'll study Chardin's dramatic use of light, Cezanne's brilliant design, and Bonnard’s expressive brushwork and complex color compositions.
By in-depth analyzing of master paintings and creating our own still life paintings using this new understanding, we'll immediately integrate the lessons we learn from Chardin, Cezanne and Bonnard into our own work.
