My series “Wonder Road” was created after a trip to India, a whirlwind introduction to the vitality and color of this unique country. I hope these paintings communicate what I experienced on the streets of Rajasthan: energy, intimate communities, deep spiritual life, and a wealth of visual beauty.

The creation of this “Wonder Road” series was supported by a grant from the Vermont Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts, and by a residency at the Vermont Studio Center.
